Welcome to the consultation website for the proposed development of Unit 7 Geron Way, Staples Corner Retail Park at Brent Cross West.
Astir are keen to provide student accommodation (up to 900 beds) on the site, with ground floor commercial space and landscaping improvements.
The plans will meet a specific student and local housing need in the London Borough of Barnet, as well as deliver significant placemaking improvements to an underutilised but well-connected site, freeing up family housing currently used by students.

The proposed development would ease the pressures on local housing across the area and enable greater access for students to good quality, proximate purpose-built accommodation to support their studies in a way that facilitates sustainable land use planning, as well as fostering the wider regeneration of the area.
